A woman was found dead inside a home in Elkhart.

Police were called to the 1000 block of Denver Street just after 4 o’clock Tuesday morning where they found the 30-year-old woman unresponsive.

Police say there is no reason, at this point, for neighbors to be concerned about their safety.

The Elkhart County Homicide Unit is helping in the investigation. An autopsy will take place to determine the cause and manner of death.
