Boy, 17, recovering after being shot on W. King in South Bend

South Bend police detectives are investigating a shooting that occurred in the 1300 block of W. King.

Officers were called to the scene around 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17.

When officers arrived, they found a 17-year-old male with gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital with apparent non life threatening injuries.

There is no word of any possible suspects or arrests. Police haven’t said what led to the shooting.

This case remains under investigation by the South Bend Police Investigative Bureau.
