A South Bend man has been found guilty of shooting and killing a pregnant woman.
34-year-old Gregory Jones was charged with murder after police found 33-year-old Kenyatta Kasha McCurry dead in her home in March 2017.
This, after McCurry’s 8-year-old daughter was spotted walking near King Gyros on South Michigan Street with no shoes carrying her 1-year-old sister in 25 degree weather. The girl directed officers to her home, where McCurry was found dead, lying “bloody” on the bed.
McCurry was believed to be carrying Jones’s child.
Jones is facing 45 to 65 years in prison when he’s sentenced.
