The search continues for the driver who struck and killed a bicyclist, then left the scene. It happened around 6:50 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 10, in the 23000 block of Brick Road.

The victim is identified as Ishayaa Diya, 61, of South Bend.

Diya was struck from behind by the vehicle.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators are describe the vehicle in question as a silver four door car.

The St. Joseph County Fatal Crash Team is leading the investigation.
