Albion man arrested on drug and gun charges

An Albion man was arrested this week on multiple drug and gun charges.

The Noble County Sheriff and Albion Police Departments served an arrest warrant on Wednesday, Oct. 31, for William G. Doster II, 51, in the 300 block of south 3rd Street in Albion.

During the arrest, the Drug Enforcement Administration Task Force gained permission to search the home. During the search, officers located methamphetamine, one or two pounds of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and two handguns. One of the guns, a .357 revolver, had been reported stolen out of Allen County.

Due to a medical issue, Doster was transported to Parkview Noble Hospital before being booked in the Noble County jail without bond. He faces the following charges:

  • Dealing in Methamphetamine
  • Dealing in Marijuana
  • Possession of Stolen Property
  • Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
  • Possession of Paraphernalia
  • Parole and Probation Violation Arrest Warrants
