Man in custody after threatening to shoot employees at the Warsaw DCS office

A man is being held at the Kosciusko County Jail on accusations that he made threats against the local DCS office.

Warsaw Police say 34-year-old Anthony Geib of Warsaw turned himself in after allegedly calling the Department of Child Services office on Center Street and telling a worker he was going to show up there in a bulletproof vest and “shoot everyone in the building”.

The Department of Child Services office and the Welfare office were both evacuated yesterday afternoon in response to the threats.

Geib faces a preliminary charge of felony intimidation.

Warsaw Police were assisted by the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office, Indiana State Police, Winona Lake Police Department, Silver Lake Police Department, Claypool Police Department, and the Kosciusko County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
