Tippecanoe Valley Schools approves $10,000 donation for bus stop-arm cameras

The Tippecanoe Valley Schools have approved a $10,000 donation for stop-arm cameras for their buses.

On Monday, Feb. 18, the school corporation approved the donation from Woodlawn Hospital.

It’s hoped that this step, coupled with the school bus safety bill currently working through the State Legislature, can prevent another tragedy like the October 2018 crash that killed three siblings and injured a fourth child.

Another donation, from Pike Lumber, has also been approved.

The Indiana Senate unanimously voted to pass the bill and it now awaits approval from the House.
