Suspected serial bank robbery suspect in police custody

A man wanted in connection to several bank robberies in South Bend and one in Michigan has been arrested.

Shawn Fox is suspected of robbing the Flagstar branch on Western Avenue in December 2-18, as well as the 5th/3rd branch on Main Street and the 1st Source branch on South Michigan Street in January.

He is also wanted in connection with a bank robbery in Michigan.

Fox was taken into custody by South Bend Police detectives on Wednesday afternoon.
