Military Appreciation Day at the Potowatomi Zoo rescheduled due to heat

Due to the extreme heat, Military Appreciation Day at the Potawatomi Zoo has been rescheduled. It was set for Saturday, July 20, but will now take place on Saturday, August 17.

From 10 a.m. until  4:30 p.m. on that day, veterans and active duty service members will be admitted free. Family members of current and former military will be admitted for five dollars. All military tickets will include a free hot dog and chips.

Any current military, veterans, and their families that show up at the zoo, on Saturday, July 20, will still receive the same discounted rate for admission.
