New license required for guided hunting providers

Among the new laws now in effect in Indiana is the requirement for a new Hunting Guide License for those who provide hunting guide, or outfitter, services.

Whether the guide receives money or barter or trade for the service, a $100 license is required per year. Fishing guides have already been licensed for several years.

There are also new penalties in place for those who knowingly provide guided hunting services on private property without the consent of the landowner. You can learn more at http://wildlife.IN.gov/2371.htm.
