An investigation into a drowning is underway in Granger.

First responders were called to the 52000 block of Swanson Drive around 6:15 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 26, where the body of a man in his 50’s was found in a swimming pool.

The St. Joseph County Coroner’s Office arrived shortly afterward, along with police and fire personnel.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
