Board of Commissioners vote against renewing contract of South Bend Housing Authority Executive Director

The Executive Director of the South Bend Housing Authority will not have her contract renewed, as voted upon by the Board of Commissioners Tuesday.

Tonya Robinson’s employment with the organization will end on September 28 when her current contract expires, according to ABC 57.

The FBI conducted a raid of the South Bend Housing Authority offices back in July, and Robinson was suspended with pay on September 17.

The Department of Justice confirmed in July an investigation was underway, but MNC has not received any information on the nature of the investigation.
