Man sentenced in March fatal crash

A man sentenced in a crash that claimed the life of a 61-year-old woman last March has learned his fate.

Jeffery Branstetter was sentenced Thursday to seven years in prison and three years suspended, according to ABC 57 News.

Branstetter pleaded guilty to Causing Death When Operating a Motor Vehicle with an ACE of .15 or more in September.

Kathleen Trumbull died five days after the March 2 crash in St. Joseph County.
