Trooper recovers vehicle reported stolen out of South Bend, one arrested

A South Bend man was arrested after he was caught driving a stolen vehicle in Miami County Sunday.

An Indiana State Police trooper stopped a 2015 Dodge Charger after it was allegedly traveling 17 miles over the posted speed limit on U.S. 31 near County Road 1050 North.

The Charger also had a headlight out, along with a false and fictitious license plate.

An investigation revealed the vehicle had been reported stolen out of South Bend on December 6.

The driver, identified as Nathaniel Graham, 26, was arrested and booked into the Miami County Jail for Possession of Stolen Property. He was also issued citations for speeding, improper head lights and having a false and fictitious license plate.
