Elkhart Police search for suspect in Monday shooting

A man is injured after a shooting in Elkhart Monday night.

Police were called to the 700 block of Taylor St. at 6 p.m. on reports of a shooting.

When they arrived, they found a 25-year-old man with gunshot wounds to his neck and chest. He was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

There’s no suspect information available at this time, and police are asking anyone with information regarding the shooting to call the Elkhart Police Department at (574) 295-7070 or email tips@elkhartpolice.org.
