Reward offered for suspect arrest after deadly hit-and-run in Michigan City

A woman has died after a hit and run crash in Michigan City earlier this month.

The crash happened back on September 12. Tara Stevens, 46, was reportedly crossing Michigan Boulevard, near Warnke Road, when she was struck by a vehicle.

Stevens was airlifted to a hospital for treatment, and was pronounced dead Tuesday night.

The vehicle involved in the crash fled the scene, and police are still searching for the driver.
