Jackson Middle School students given face masks, school supplies before returning to class

Jackson Middle School students will be stocked with face masks, hand sanitizer and school supplies as they head back to in-person classes next week.

The middle school received a donation of both school supplies and pandemic safety items from a list of local organizations, including PPE manufacturer Green Shield, Kuert Concrete, the South Bend Chapter of Black Lives Matter and Ivory Koast Tees, according to ABC 57 News.

The items were distributed to each student in drawstring bags to prepare for classroom learning. Students return to class on Monday, October 12.
