A woman is injured after being shot during a domestic dispute in Cass County.

Officers were notified of the domestic violence incident just after 9:30 Sunday night in the 19000 block of Chain Lake Street.

At the scene, police found a 34-year-old woman suffering from a gunshot wound. She was flown to a local hospital for treatment.

The suspect had fled the scene before police arrived, but was quickly located after he crashed his vehicle in Goshen.

He was arrested and is facing charges in both Goshen and Cass counties. His name is being withheld pending arraignment.
