SBCSC Board VP criticized for plagiarized op-ed

A South Bend School Board member is in hot water after an op-ed published in her name turned out to be plagiarized. The op-ed was published in the South Bend Tribune on Friday, and the author was printed as school board vice president Leslie Wesley, who is currently running for re-election.

Since it was published Wesley has admitted that she didn’t write the piece; instead her campaign marketing communicator wrote it in her name. Except the marketing communicator didn’t write it either, as it was plagiarized from a school board member in California.

Wesley has since apologized directly to the original author and in a statement takes full responsibility and says that the staffer has been fired.

If any at a newspaper, book, or blog did that they would be out of a job.
But an elected official is held to another standard.

This should not be unexpected. Dogs bark, snakes slither and liberal lie.

She’s just following the parties head and taking credit for other peoples work. Just another lib trying to bring CA to IN.

Notice when caught in a lie she immediately threw the aid under the bus, not like it wasn’t approved by her to begin with. It would be shameful behavior if libs had any shame or sense of responsibility.
