Hartford man killed in rear-end collision in Berrien County

A Hartford man was killed in a crash in Berrien County.

The collision happened around 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 9, on County Line Road near 66th Ave in Watervliet Township.

Robert Clem, 58, was traveling southbound in a 2003 Buick when he rear-ended a semi truck and trailer that had turned southbound from an open field.

The force of the crash resulted in extensive damage to Clem’s Vehicle.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.
