There’s great news for longtime Colts fans heading into the holiday weekend.

Tuesday it was announced that the legendary Indianapolis tandem of quarterback Peyton Manning and Wideout Reggie Wayne are among the semifinalists for a place in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

They’re among 25 modern-era nominees who survived cuts made to a list of 130.

It’s the first year of eligibility for Manning, the only five-time MVP in the history of the league. It’s the second year for Wayne, who was in the final 15 last year. The two combined for more than 10 thousand yards, 779 receptions, and 67 touchdowns for the Colts..one of them in the team’s victory in Super Bowl 41.
