Monday, Feb. 15, marks 20 years to the day that 12-year-old Steven Earl Kraft Jr. disappeared from his home in Benton Township.

Kraft’s parents told police their son was out walking his dogs, that night, and didn’t come home for dinner.

Kraft was last seen in the 2100 block of Holly Street.

Searches were conducted by land and by air. Kraft’s two dogs were found a few days later, but Steven Kraft Jr. is still listed as a missing person.

Anybody with information is encouraged to contact Benton township Police at 269-926-1135 or 269-926-8221 or Michiana Crime Stoppers at 574-288-STOP.
