More Hoosiers will be eligible to sign up for vaccines, according to the Indiana State Department of Health. The department said those 40 and over will be able to sign up for COVID-19 vaccinations as of Monday, March 22.

The expansion will allow more than 40,000 additional Hoosiers to be able to sign up for appointments.

Beginning Monday in Michigan, residents ages 16 and older with disabilities or medical conditions that put them at high risk of negative COVID-19 outcomes are eligible to get vaccinated. Beginning on April 5, all Michigan residents ages 16 and older can register to get vaccinated.

Governor Gretchen Whitmer says it is her goal to get 70 percent of people ages 16 and up vaccinated.
