Did you miss the tax deadline on Monday? If you missed it and still haven’t made any payments, you can expect to have to spend a little extra on your IRS bill.
The deadline was extended a month due to the pandemic, but taxes were due on May 17. If you missed the deadline you can expect to pay interest on any unpaid balance, as well as potential penalties for failing to file and pay.
If you owe no taxes or you’re owed a refund the IRS won’t penalize you for failure to file — but if you wait too long, you could eventually lose your refund.

This is an article for those who fail basic living 101. It’s not like the tax deadline sneaks up on anyone.
It’s hard to keep track of tax day when you don’t pay taxes, so it sneaks up on lots of Democrat voters every year.
Of course, the Venn diagram of Democrat voters and the ones who fail basic living 101 have quite a lot of overlap…
