St. Joseph, Michigan is inviting the community to celebrate throughout summer during Love Local weekends.

Happening each third weekend of the month, starting with June 18 and ending with September 17, businesses and restaurants will have extended hours.

Friday and Saturday: 10 am to 8 pm

Sunday: 12 pm to 4 pm

The goal of the Love Local series is to promote shopping locally in Southwest Michigan and to pump up area restaurants and businesses.

Love Local also kicks off each of the weekends with the Friday Night Concert Series that will feature free, hour-long concerts at the John Howard Bandshell.

According to ABC-57 News, bench and lawn seating will be available for the concerts. It’s also encouraged to bring your own snacks to the concert.
