Innovation grants available in St. Joseph County

A partnership between St. Joseph County and the South Bend Regional Chamber of Commerce are providing support to local restaurants who during the pandemic invested in keeping their customers and employees safe.

Throughout Lakeville, New Carlisle, North Liberty, Osceola, Roseland, and Walkerton, businesses are eligible to apply for grants of up to $2,000 if they meet the follow criteria:

• Restaurants or Bars must have been open through most of 2020
• Must have an active food permit from St. Joseph County
• Must be able to submit up to a 250-word description of the
investments and innovations made towards increasing the safety
of the public and employees, along with proof in the form of
pictures, receipts or other evidence.
