South Bend’s soon-to-be-open Trader Joe’s location is hiring.

The new grocery store, on East Howard Street, hopes to open its doors in August. They’re in the middle of a three-day hiring event, which continues Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the store, and again from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday.

Applications will be accepted at the store and you can also apply online at the Trader Joe’s website.

The new store, the first for the 500-strong chain in the Michiana area, will anchor the south end of the Eddy Street Commons.
