Two people were killed and a third person was hospitalized after a shooting that happened on the pier in South Haven.

Police were called around 2:15 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 20, where they found the victims. One of the people who died is the suspected shooter.

The suspected shooter was identified as Aidan Topher Ingalls, 19, of Bangor, Michigan.

The wife of the man who Ingalls allegedly shot was airlifted to a hospital in Kalamazoo where she was last listed in critical condition.

Police are working to determine if there is a relationship between the shooter and the victims.

Ingalls was turned into police by his mother in 2018 after she found guns and explosives in his possession, which authorities say he planned to use in an attack against Paw Paw High School, according to WSBT.
