La Casa de Amistad has been selected as a winner of the Lowe’s “100 hometowns” initiative.

The company selected La Casa as part of its initiative that aims to help thousands of people across 36 states.

WSBT reports that employees gave back to the community last week during a Red Vest Volunteer Day and installed landscaping, planted trees, and helped finish the exterior work at La Casa’s new Community Center.

La Casa de Amistad was the sole recipient of the Lowe’s 100 Hometowns project in the Hoosier State this year.
