Three people hospitalized after crash at U.S. 12 & Baldwin Prairie Road

Three people, including a 5-year-old boy, were hurt in a crash at U.S. 12 and Baldwin Prairie Road.

The collision happened around 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 27, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.

A vehicle traveling south on Baldwin Prairie Road pulled in front of another vehicle traveling east on U.S. 12, sheriff’s investigators reported.

The driver of the southbound vehicle and a woman and the child in the eastbound vehicle were taken to Elkhart General Hospital for treatment.

Factors into the crash are still under investigation.
