The Fighting Irish have landed a coach from one of College Football’s Final Four teams.
Cincinnati’s Brian Mason is the new Special Teams coordinator at Notre Dame. He’s the first coaching hire of the Marcus Freeman regime, and the word of his hire on Thursday made official a report from earlier this month. Mason worked on the Cincinnati staff with Coach Freeman for four years, as well as at two other schools in the last decade.
Mason is also a former Director of Recruiting for the Bearcats.
