Dry weather ahead after an overnight blast of snow in Indiana

You can expect several days of dry weather after the snow, sleet, and rain move out of Indiana Thursday night.

Even though no precipitation is expected Friday, the roads will still be slick, so you’re advised to be careful on the roads during your morning and afternoon commutes.

“It will still remain pretty cold throughout the weekend. Temperatures will be in the 30s and mid to upper 30s,” said Mike Koch, meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Indianapolis.

The next time we’ll see things warm-up will be Sunday and Monday.

“That’s when temperatures will get into the mid-40s for highs. By next Wednesday, we’re looking at the lower 50s and then upper 50s by next Thursday,” said Koch.

Koch believes dry weather to stick around through the entire state for at least the next seven days.
