A judge has accepted a guilty plea in connection with a plot to shoot up two Fulton County schools, and issued a sentence.
John Schultz IV will serve three years of probation for conspiracy to commit murder.
The 20 year-old is accused of planning shootings at two high schools in Fulton County. He was 18 when he was arrested in 2020.
His first trial, where he faced two conspiracy to commit murder charges and four felony counts of intimidation and drug possession, resulted in a hung jury.
Any violation of the terms of his probation could land him 18 or more years in prison.
