Police respond to shot fired in the air in St. Joseph, MI

Police responded to a call of shots fired in St. Joseph, Michigan on Wednesday afternoon.

Around 1:45 p.m. officers responded in the 700 block of Grant Street after a report of a male subject firing a single shot into the air during an argument.

The suspect reportedly fled on foot in the direction of Niles Road. He was taken into custody a short time later and charges are pending, and a K9 officer located the handgun suspected of being used hidden in a large wood pile.
