Notre Dame participates in annual Bike Ride for a Cure

Last month’s Bike Ride for a Cure raised funds for research to fight Niemann-Pick Type-C.

Thirty-two Notre Dame students from the ESTEEM graduate program took part in the annual ride, according to the University. They rode in a partnership with the Ara Pareseghian Medical Research Fund, starting in Grand Rapids on May 8, riding to Coloma, South Bend, Michigan City, and ending in Chicago on May 11.

This year the ride raised more than $150,000, according to fund director Sean Kassen. Donations given on Notre Dame Day helped swell the fundraising to more than $1.7 million this year.
