Gen Zers are having more difficulties putting food on the table, compared to other generations.

A survey from Purdue University says that 30% of Gen Z households are getting groceries from food pantries, churches, and charities.

Only 8% of Boomer households are doing the same.

In addition, 19% of millennials and Gen X adults are facing issues when putting food on the table.

Jayson Lusk, professor at Purdue, says that younger generations have lower incomes, resulting in more food insecurity.

Researches say that food inflation is outpacing salary growth, which hit those with lower incomes the hardest.

So the thousands I spent at Berkeley studying wealth inequality amongst squirrels (yes, that’s real) was a bad idea? Next, I suppose you’ll tell me I should have learned any real world skill. I don’t have time for this hate speech. Mom said my Mac and cheese is almost done.

Maybe out down thier video games, phones etc. and get a job. The actual shame I felt when we need help has kept me out of that situation. The kids now days figure help into thier plans.
