Man arrested, resisting law enforcement and violating protection order

A man was arrested for allegedly resisting law and violating a protection order enforcement in Mishawaka.

It happened on Sunday, when police were called to the 800 block of Main street, on reports of a protective order violation.

Witnesses told officers that the suspect, Robert Fannon-England, was hiding in a closet inside a house.

The victim says he was in her home for an hour before she noticed he was there.

Officials found Fannon-England in the closet.

He allegedly walked away from police, after orders telling him to stop.

ABC 57 News reports that he tried to push officers with his foot and hit an officer in the eye.

He was arrested on charges of unlawful possession of a syringe, invasion of privacy, and resisting law enforcement.
