Reward doubled for cold case murder in Hammond

magnifying glass, facts, investigate

After 18 years of effort, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has still not found many answers regarding the 2005 murder of a Hoosier teenager. Now, they are doubling the reward for information that could solve this crime.

The national organization is now offering $20,000 for information about Alexandra Anaya.

Anaya was just 13 years old when she went missing from her Hammond home in 2005. Days later, only her torso was found in the Little Calumet River; to this day, the rest of her remains have not been located.

The girl’s family is still hoping for justice. If you know anything about this, please call the FBI to report a tip, or do so online at www.tips.FBI.gov.

I hope her family gets the closer they deserve. I also want to know what happened to Hector Sanabria on January 1, 2002? Hammond Indiana. My family never got closer as well. I went to school with Alex and was told her dad killed her. I’m not trying to bash anyone with this comment or anything like that I just would like some closer to my brother’s homicide just as well as Alex’s. My brother was killed on the same block Alex lived in. Pine Ave Hammond Indiana. We all would like some answers.

Yes I was told her step dad molested her for years and murdered her to cover it up.
