It was just minor injuries for a Buchanan woman whose car caught fire after a crash.
The collision happened around 11:20 p.m. on Thursday, June 22, on Dutch Settlement Street near M-62 in Wayne Township.
Cass County Sheriff’s investigators say the 44-year-old woman was traveling westbound, drove over the curb and went straight into a utility pole, causing the car to catch fire.
The woman was not in the vehicle when it caught on fire. She was buckled up.  Drugs and alcohol are not suspected factors.
The crash remains under investigation.
