Both drivers in two-vehicle crash face trouble with police

Both drivers involved in a two-vehicle crash northwest of Syracuse are in trouble with police.
The crash happened just after 5:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 29, on County Road 29 south of U.S. 6.
Elkhart County Sheriff’s deputies say a 24-year-old Syracuse man was traveling northbound, but drove left of center, hitting the front driver’s side of a southbound vehicle.
A 32-year-old North Webster man driving the vehicle that was hit became trapped inside his car and had to be extricated by first responders. He was taken to a Fort Wayne hospital with a broken arm and body pain. He was also cited for driving without a license.
The Syracuse man who police say caused the crash was not injured but was cited for driving left of center.
