The Curious Kids Museum has made a new offer to purchase its building from the city.

At Monday’s meeting, St. Joseph City Commissioners received the offer of $500 million for Memorial Hall, which the museum leases.

WSJM reports that the commissioners did not vote on the new offer, because the City Attorney and one of the commissioners were not present. The Mayor says the new offer brings the parties closer together, after an offer of $140,000 was turned down in June.
