Michigan man suffers partial arm amputation after car crash

A Climax, Michigan man suffered a partial arm amputation following a crash at the intersection State Road 120 and County Road 19.
The collision happened around 6:30 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 5.
The 32-year-old Michigan man, driving a 2003 Chevrolet Tracker, crossed the center line, collided head-on with a semi driven by a Middlebury man.
The Michigan man was taken to South Bend Memorial Hospital with severe injuries and was cited for driving left of center.
