Two absentee voting supervisors accused of mishandling ballots, new supervisors appointed to replace them

(Tommie Lee/953MNC)
During a recent meeting, allegations were made regarding the mishandling of ballots by two absentee voting supervisors. As a result, two new absentee voting supervisors were appointed to replace the previous ones.
The previous supervisors allegedly violated security protocols and failed to correct their actions.
On Monday, the St. Joseph County Election Board held a meeting to discuss the mishandling of absentee votes by the two voting supervisors.
This included leaving ballots unsupervised. The St. Joseph County Circuit Clerk, Amy Rolfes, reported security issues on October 12th.
Both absentee supervisors violated the law by pre-signing early voting ballot security envelopes, which should only be signed after voting.

I don’t want to only see replacements, I want to see criminal charges!

We are already having a crisis of confidence in our elections. Letting people break election law without pursuing charges is only making it worse.
