Dense Fog Advisory in effect through late Wednesday morning

A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect through at least 11 o’clock for the entire listening area.

Foggy, soggy or damp, sums up the weather through the weekend. The good news is temperatures will stay above freezing, so ice is less of an issue. Areas of dense fog are the greatest concern for drivers, this morning, and areas of fog are possible in-between rounds of rain through Thursday. The melting snow and rainfall could cause some minor flooding / standing water. expect big puddles but no major flooding as less than an inch of rain is forecast through the weekend. The outlook for next week is more dry and mild, with higher nearing 50 degrees.

* WHAT...Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog.

* WHERE...Portions of northern Indiana and southwest Michigan.

* WHEN...Until 11 AM EST /10 AM CST/ Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Fog expected to develop quickly this
  evening and persist through Wednesday morning.

Sunday: A slight chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 38.

Monday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 39.
