President Biden has sent aides to Michigan to meet with Arab American and Muslim leaders about the Israel-Hamas War.

The senior aides were in the state on Thursday to sit with community leaders amidst criticism abut how Biden has handled the war. One State Representative said that a cease-fire needs to be called, and a release of hostages and prisoners from both the Israelis and Hamas needs to happen.

Michigan is a key battleground state again in the 2024 Election, and the president has heard from critics in Michigan’s large Arab American and Muslim populations since the beginning of the conflict in October.
