Cassopolis man sentenced for murders of two women

A 19-year-old Cassopolis man has been sentenced to 122-and-a-half years in prison for the murders of two women at Laurel Woods Apartments in South Bend.
Prosecutors say Reace Pence, 19, shot and killed Jamie Binns, 28, and Samantha Lawson, 29, back in September.
Pence was sentenced to 55 years for each death and an additional 12-and-a-half years for a firearm enhancement.
The shooting happened inside a vehicle in the parking lot of the apartment complex.
