Sharon McBride’s mother fired from DuComb Center

(PHoto supplied/ABC 57)
The mother of Sharon McBride, Delores Walker, has been fired from her position as Kitchen Director at the DuComb Center. This, just a day after McBride was officially fired as the center’s director.
The shake-up comes amid an investigation into multiple allegations including training issues, ghost employment, and possible overtime abuse.
ABC 57 News reports McBride allegedly gave Walker $45,000 in overtime pay, making her mother one of the highest paid employees of the county.
McBride remains in place on the South Bend Common Council.
