A South Bend man has been convicted in the death of another man late last year.
It was back in November when prosecutors say Joseph Williams, 39, stabbed Martinez Tennell Lambert, 39, during an argument at Beacon Heights Apartments.
A witness who was on the phone with the victim at the time of the stabbing reported heaing the phone drop and a bunch of muffled noise.
The witness then drove to the apartment complex and found Lambert’s body.
Williams faces 45 to 65 years in prison when he’s sentenced in June.
