A suspect is in custody after a high-speed chase.

Mishawaka Police spotted a stolen car from Michigan on McKinley Avenue, Thursday morning, June 13, and tried to stop it, but the suspect driver sped off.

The chase ended at the Mishawaka-South Bend line, where the car crashed into a yard… but then, police say the suspect took off toward Morris Park Country Club.

Despite the attempt to flee of foot, the suspect was arrested.

Medics checked the suspect for possible injuries before the trip to jail.
