Four kayakers were rescued from the St. Joseph River Channel near Silver Beach on Saturday. Two Berrien County deputies responded to help the U.S. Coast Guard around 7 o’clock Saturday night.
WSJM reports that one kayaker suffered a head injury after two kayaks overturned in rough waves. There’s no update on that person’s condition.
